At the South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University, students have the opportunity to pursue an undergraduate degree in Commercial Music, Music Education, Performance, or Worship Leadership.  In the trumpet studio, we aim to mold young, aspiring musicians into diverse performers and educators, ready to tackle the changing landscape of the music industry. Students receive personalized, individual attention with Professor Imhoff.  They are offered ample playing opportunities in a variety of ensembles. From Mahler symphonies to brass quintet literature to the music of rock and roll band, Chicago, students will be challenged to grow technically on the instrument and more importantly, musically. Students will refine the essential skills needed to succeed in today's music industry. Students also have the opportunity to work in conjunction with the Musical Theatre department on upcoming productions. Past shows have included: Big Fish, Sister Act, Curtains, and Guys & Dolls, and Secret Garden

The relationship and fit between a student and the primary teacher is one of the most important considerations when choosing a school.  Chris would love to have you explore the SCSA Trumpet Studio and discuss a career in music.  Contact him to set up a FREE lesson, either in-person or virtual (a great option if you're not close to campus).
